Deka Immobilien secures new operator for 5-star hotel in Amsterdam

Deka Immobilien has signed a new lease agreement with the operator Corendon Hotels & Resorts to operate the 5-star W hotel in Amsterdam. The W Amsterdam comprises two listed buildings, which were renovated and transformed from office buildings into the hotel in 2015. It features 238 rooms, including 66 suites, a spa and two renowned restaurants. The hotel is situated directly adjacent to the Royal Palace and next to the Dam Square, the most central square in the Dutch capital.
With Corendon, a financially sound and experienced hotel operator is taking over the luxury hotel under a long-term lease agreement. The company will continue to operate the hotel under the Marriott W brand. The property has been part of the portfolio of the
Deka-ImmobilienGlobal open-ended real estate fund since 2017.
