Deka Immobilien leases the Boréal building in Brussels

Frankfurt – 18.11.2021

Deka Immobilien has signed a new lease agreement for around 37,500 square meters in Brussels to Proximus SA, the largest Belgian communications group, who will occupy the office space in the “Boréal” building at 55 rue de Progrès. The tenant will use the area for maximum four years as a temporary accommodation, during which time they will renovate their current headquarters and convert the Proximus Towers into a Green & Digital Campus.

The 16-storey building, which has been part of the open-ended real estate fund Deka-ImmobilienEuropa since 2000, enjoys a prime location with excellent transport links right next to the Gare du Nord in the financial and banking district in Brussels.

BNP Paribas Real Estate acted as intermediary for this transaction, which is one of the largest deals in the sub-market.
