The Real Estate business division combines Deka Group's global real estate activities. The business division's main tasks include fund management, property management, real estate transactions and international real estate lending.

Consistently on course for the future

Main tasks:

  • Development and implementation of asset management strategies for existing properties in the USA
  • Cost planning, document handover and coordination of property management etc. and consulting / supporting the acquisition and sales department in market and rent assessment
  • Performance control and monitoring of external service providers, managers & external asset management or joint venture partners in the USA and, if applicable, Canada
  • Coordination and execution of lettings (re-letting and new lettings, marketing measures, broker selection, etc.)
  • Planning and monitoring of property performance annually as well as quarterly forecasting (target/actual control)
  • Planning and coordination of revitalization as well as repair and conversion measures (planning & implementation with Project Management International)

Professional background:

  • University graduate with real estate major
  • US-American citizenship
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in operational real estate management in the USA and experience in working with international investors
  • Good local network
  • Good German language skills if possible
