At least once a year, employees and managers define individual development paths based on the identified development needs. A broad spectrum of possible measures is available to them, which is continuously further developed in line with strategy and requirements. It includes offers for the development of personal, methodological and social skills. The agreed training courses take place either within the framework of professional activities, for example by taking on project tasks, or through measures that are carried out "off the job", such as seminars or longer-term further training courses, which are concluded with a certificate. Deka supports its employees in internal or external further training measures both financially and in terms of time. The Karriere@Deka high potentials programme is launched annually to prepare junior staff for assuming specialist, management or project responsibility. A detailed assessment of the situation of employees with potential beyond the current position can be made through voluntary participation in an internal Potential Assessment Center (AC). Corresponding development recommendations are recorded in personnel development interviews following the AC potential. In addition to specialist trainee programmes, Deka Group offers university graduates a general trainee programme that provides junior staff with broad, Group-wide knowledge. Deka offers a women mentoring programme for the targeted advancement of women.
